The pro soccer K League 1 Jeju United said it will change its club name to "Jeju SK FC."
Jeju, which was founded in 1982 under the name of Merit Elephant and changed its name to Bucheon Merit and Bucheon SK, has competed in the K-League under the name Jeju United since moving from Bucheon to Jeju in February 2006.

The club explained, "On the 20th anniversary of our relationship with the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, we decided to change the team name to strengthen the connection between Jeju and SK."

The club emblem will also be changed. The "happiness wing" pattern, which symbolizes Hallasan Mountain and SK, the symbol of Jeju, is in harmony with the club name "JEJU SK."

The club explained, "The new emblem contains the core values of inheriting the existing club identity and strengthening social responsibility through solidarity between Jeju and SK."
The name and emblem of the new club will be applied from the 2025 season.

It is used in uniforms, official products related to the club, and various promotional products.
